Step 1. Measure your existing doors
- Gather your tools: Make sure you have a tape measure, pen, and paper to make note of your measurements.
- Measure doors from the back: Open each door and measure from the backside of the door to get an accurate measurement. Measure from side to side and top to bottom to get your width and height of each door and take note.
- Measure hinge hole placements: Measure from the top of the door to the middle of the top hinge, and from the bottom of the door to the middle of the bottom hinge. Ensuring you measure to the MIDDLE of the hinge will allow your replacement kitchen doors to fit perfectly with existing hinges. You will also need to make a not of weather the door is left or right hanging. If the door opens out to the left, it is left hanging. Doors that open out to the right, are right hanging.

With Happy Doors, you can order up to 6 free color samples, allowing you to find the perfect look and feel directly in your home. Simply choose your favorites, and we’ll send them right to your doorstep.
Step 4. Configure and order your replacement doors
Once you've decided on your chosen style and colour, it’s time to bring your vision to life. Have your measurements to hand and head over to the configutaor of your chosen door.
Simply input your height, width and hinge hole measurements for each door, selecting your finish from our extensive range of colour options. Don’t forget to choose whether you’d like pre-drilled hinge holes for easy installation.
After configuring your doors to match your specifications, simply add them to your cart and proceed to checkout. Upon placing your order you'll receive a confirmation and can expect your replacement doors to arrive in 10-14 days.
Step 5. Install your replacement doors
The time has come! Your new doors have arrived and you're eager to see your vision come to life.
Installing your replacement doors is straightforward and easy to do. With just a screwdriver (and a brew, of course) you can ensure a perfect fit with your existing cabinets.
- Gather your tools: All you'll need is a screwdriver! Make sure you have one to hand.
- Remove old doors: By using the quick release on the back of the hinges, simply clip your existing door off.
- Attach hinges to new door: Unscrew the hinges from the old door. Take the new door and screw in the hinges using the pre-drilled hinge holes for placement.
- Hang your new door: Put the door up to the cupboard, clip the hinge on to the backplate and you're done!
